I know many people out there believe Bill Gates and his Gates Foundation are not only the savior’s of the world and have everyone’s best interest at heart and I used to believe that also. That was until I began to research education and where it has been headed for the past 135 years. Bill Gates and his wife Melinda are Progressives and very deeply embedded in the Agenda 21 movement for a One World Order and they continue to use their large arsenal of funds to help push that agenda. One of those agenda’s is Education.
One might as well refer to the Department of Education as the Department of Bill Gates. He has spent an enormous amount of money on the initiatives benefiting Microsoft and predetermined vendors. This is how Gates is becoming the czar of education (it's really quite creative):
That's the basics in a hand basket and it is your children who will suffer from the new CCS and control by the Federal Government. Gates gives money to the government and schools to further his agenda and he reaps the benefits of the business that agenda creates along with furthering his Progressive agenda. The common core is an integral part of that agenda. If the common core standards are not implemented, the whole plan falls apart.
- He is taking over the public education realm by his foundation providing Common Core Standards (the "free"-thinking philanthropy) to states if they will agree to use its blueprint. Let us not forget it was Bill Gates who funded the writing of the new Common Core Standards (CCS) by someone who was not even an educator.
- If the states agree to do so (under financial pressures from the Federal Government), the Gates Foundation can control what and how students learn.
- He's done this by crafting the standards under which students will learn.
- The states have been ruled impotent in exercising their sovereign right to educate their citizens in the manner deemed appropriate by the state by this takeover of education.
- The Common Core Standard’s package to the states also requires the states to purchase computers, Gates software and other items to store and manage all the information about your children and their educational progress with the whole country and whom ever else manages to obtain the information. It is the Progressive way of tracking your children.
Now I would like to introduce the “American Legislative Executive Council”. Sounds impressive doesn’t it? When you look them up you find this group is made up of elected Representatives from different states, a Board of Scholars, a Private Enterprise Board (Coca-Cola; Johnson & Johnson; Kraft; Intuit and many more) with the current Public Chair being David Casas (GA) representative and the Private Chair being Mickey Revenaugh, Jr., co-founder of Connections Academy – a Virtual School Company who sells their online education to private, public and charter schools.
Just last week the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) called for the demise of the Common Core Standards: “A package of model legislation opposing the common standards gained ground yesterday at the American Legislative Exchange Council. The organization's education task force approved the package.”
Listed on ALEC's website is the description of its Education mission: The mission of ALEC’s Education Task Force is to promote excellence in the nation’s educational system, to advance reforms through parental choice, to support efficiency, accountability, and transparency in all educational institutions, and to ensure America’s youth are given the opportunity to succeed. If ALEC takes its mission seriously, then this model legislation is long overdue and should have been introduced when the talk of common core standards and a national curriculum was introduced by Bill Gates and the Department of Education. Now is the time to look into this organization which is described not as a lobby or a front group. ALEC is much more powerful than that. Through ALEC, behind closed doors, corporations hand state legislators the changes to the law they desire that directly benefit their bottom line. Along with legislators, corporations have membership in ALEC. Corporations sit on all nine ALEC task forces and vote with legislators to approve “model” bills. They have their own corporate governing board which meets jointly with the legislative board. Now for the good news! On the heels of the ALEC announcement, did Mr. Gates say to ALEC...."not so fast"? No he did not! Instead, Bill Gates is not only buying the Department of Education, it seems he is attempting to buy out ALEC as well. A grant was given to ALEC by Gates for educational reform in November 2011 for – are you ready? $376,635.00 From the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation website - Purpose: to educate and engage its membership on more efficient state budget approaches, to drive greater student outcomes, as well as educate them on beneficial ways to recruit, retain, evaluate and compensate effective teaching based upon merit and achievement. To be distributed over a period of 1 year, 10 months. Now to be fair, this $376,635 grant is not for common core standards. This $376,635 grant is to assist in enacting the ADDITIONAL Race to the Top mandates. Gates is employing the same methods used in setting Federal Education Policy; he is giving money to an organization to establish his agenda. Do you think this is a subtle or not so subtle message to the ALEC Board by the Gates Foundation to support the Gates vision of education...even though the common core standards are not constitutional? Will the ALEC Board fulfill its mission or will it be bought out like the Department of Education? The Department of Education turned over a government website to the Gates Foundation to monitor. From the Washington Post: “The decision to turn over “TEACH to Partners in Learning” serves to expand the already outsized influence Gates and his fortune have on public education”. Gates is spearheading the implementation of common core standards, teacher hiring and teacher evaluations. State legislators can stop the implementation of standards and unfunded mandates. Will the ALEC Board support this model legislation or will it fold like Arne Duncan, take the money....and pretend it promotes Jeffersonian principles? Gates along with his partnership with his friend Jeb Bush and the Jeb Bush Foundation for Excellence in Education are intent on a complete takeover of the educational delivery and content while utilizing taxpayer money. At the same time these two Foundations along with dollars acquired from the Wal-Mart Foundation, are on a fast push for an increase in the number of Charter school throughout the country. On the surface this sounds great until you start checking into the charter schools and how they are not being overseen by the local school boards, no oversight as to the curriculum's or textbooks being used, where outside funding is coming from and to top it off, which one of your legislators might have a monetary interest in the Charter school business – because a business is what it is. Make no mistake parents, Education as a whole has become a very big business, with you as a taxpayer funding a large share of it while others are making a profit and it is NOT in the “best interest of your children” that is at the forefront.

Dear Ms. Grasso,
It has come to the attention of many here in the state of Florida and around the country that one of your teachers, Kelly Milizian, Department Head of the Social Studies Department, invited and has invited on numerous occasions Hassan Shibly to speak to different classes within the school.
In case you are not aware, Hassan Shibly is a member of CAIR – the Council on American-Islamic Relations and has been bragging on line in different venues how he has managed to infiltrate the Florida High Schools and spread the beliefs of Hamas and Islam. He also knew if there were any repercussions, the schools in question would be held accountable.
Shibly is well known for “defending” jihad terrorist groups and acting as an apologist for the worldwide jihad and Islamic supre macism. Did you or anyone on your staff check out this mans background before allowing him to enter American, taxpayer schools, speaking to our children not only about a form of religion, but also explaining to them who and what he is?
This is America madam and we, the United States of America are not only in an undeclared war with jihad, but you do not have the authority to bring in someone to speak to our children about any form of religion. Islam is a religion in case you had forgotten.
Hassan Shibly, following the 2006 Israel-Lebanon War, granted legitimacy to Hizballah by characterizing it as a "resistance movement" that provides valued social services to the Lebanese people. "They're absolutely not a terrorist organization," Shibly said, and "any war against them is illegitimate."
As a testament to Shibly’s support for Hezbollah’s cause, Shibly even expressed his desire to travel to Lebanon to aid the group's war effort as they were bombing and crossing the Israel border. Are you not aware Ms. Grasso that Israel is a friend of the United States? If you are not aware that these organizations are a threat to the United States both from outside as well as inside I suggest you should not be teaching our children anything.
Mr. Shibly’s biography likes to cast him as a man who works actively with inter-faith and social service organizations to "promote cooperation and understanding between diverse faiths and cultures." I suggest that our public schools do not fall within the grouping of inter-faith and social service organizations.
Shibly recently wrote "It is essential we work together as a community, with all those who stand for peace, freedom, love, and mutual respect, to counter those who wish to promote fear, hatred, and violence." However, on his own Facebook page, Shibly defended a radical imam killed by the FBI after he opened fire on agents moving in to arrest him. In an October 2009 post, Shibly questioned the use of force against Imam Luqman Abdullah even though the criminal complaint against him made it clear Abdullah advocated violent jihad and urged followers never to surrender peacefully to authorities.
If it is truly your intention to help the children of the Hillsborough County schools be well informed regarding religion and its association to our history, I suggest you give an open invitation to any and all religious groups along with various groups in the state who are proficient in American History to come and speak to your students. In fact, we demand the equal time.
In addition, at this time I am making a formal request for information regarding Mr. Shibly’s visits to your students under the Florida Sunshine Laws, Title X, Chapter 119.01 General State Policy on Public Records:
(1) It is the policy of this state that all state, county, and municipal records are open for personal inspection and copying by any person. Providing access to public records is a duty of each agency. Florida Statutes define a 'public record' as all documents, papers, letters, books...any material that is made in connection with official business of any state agency.
We are requesting information as to the content of information that was given to the children, subjects covered, length of presentation and how many visits were made to the school. We are also asking for a list of each and every Social Studies/History book you are using for the classes at Steinbrenner High school and a copy of the e-mail, newsletter or note that was sent to the student’s parents notifying them of the various visits to be made to your school by Hassan Shibly.
In case you are not aware, last year it was brought to the attention of every school superintendent in the State of Florida regarding the many, many errors in the textbooks being used by our schools in regard to references made regarding Islam and Judeo/Christian beliefs, history and other items. By allowing Mr. Shinlry into one of your classrooms you have indirectly reinforced those errors.
I would have expected an American principal/teacher to have more respect for her country and her students as to put our school children in a position to be taught Islam by a professed jihad and Hizballah supporter. Do you not know anything about Islam? Did this man teach them also about Sharia law – how it believes in the disrespect of women and children, that they kill them with out question or cause? Did you ever consider the possibility those children in your school might have been in danger?
Many of us here in Florida are sadly disappointed in you and Ms. Milizian and the decisions that were made here. A response that you were “educating” the students is not appropriate or welcome.
It is unfortunate we cannot contact the Hillsborough County School Board as their e-mail addresses are not published.

Agenda 21 to me is a big, all consuming Octopus with many, many out reaching tentacles. One of those tentacles is the Education of our children. Lies are not necessarily used in regard to Education as in Global Warming, but the United Nations does have a very well orchestrated plan, implemented through UNESCO and with the help of Progressives here in America to bring our children to socialism through Education.
The Founders of our country believed the key to a free Republic was a public education for all children. They also stated “Religion, morality, and knowledge as being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind.” The Founders influence on American education continued in force for nearly 150 years until the rise of Dr. John Dewey near the turn of the 21t century.
Dewey, a Marxist, believed children were free spirits who learned better by using their hands (chores/work) not their minds and they did not need their parents or teachers forming their minds. Kindergarten was Dewey's solution to creating a wedge between family and home. He felt each grade should allow a child to learn by personal experiences; through inquiry; social experience and Marxism. Dewey believed Nature wanted children to be children so there was no need for formal education. They are to be workers as a rule – “worker bees.”
The Dewey Society formed along with the Progressive Education Assoc. a socialistic education system which was the basis for teacher's schools for years. Then in 1963 Lyndon Johnson came into the picture and he signed the Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA) providing Federal funds for Primary & Secondary education rather than the states. ESEA allowed for Federal grants and Title I funds for schools (low income schools) (free lunch programs) and tied Federal funding to standards and accountability. This was known as the "War On Poverty" out of the faulty assumption that poverty creates illiteracy. Actually the equation of poverty is the breakdown of the family unit. Sadly, LBJ thought the federal government should take money from state citizens only to give it back as 'free' money designed to "strengthen" state schools. It should have immediately been seen as Statism/Socialism and counter to the ideals of Federalism. ESEA is renewed every 5 years by a vote of congress and is due to be renewed again in 2011; it should not be renewed.

1. Nov 1992, Tucker wrote a letter to Hillary Clinton laying out his and others (Rockefeller, etc) socialistic plan for Education and the Poor. The Clinton’s pushed for it’s implementation.
2. Clinton writes Exe. Order 12852 - President's Council on Sustainable Development to include following the Earth Charter under the UN plan for Education.

There is more to this story, many details and names but I will leave that for another time so you can see how the Agenda of socialism has come to today. Parents check your children’s textbooks, look at the curriculum and keep them out of International Education Programs.
